Job Description
Secureframe is a leading cybersecurity compliance provider, recognized for its innovative technology solutions. They offer a robust portfolio of products that secure thousands of businesses worldwide and have been featured in publications like Forbes and TechCrunch for their transformative impact on compliance standards. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will collaborate with product management, design, and other engineering stakeholders to maintain high-quality standards in a fast-paced environment. You will develop full-stack features to address complex technical challenges, integrating frontend and backend aspects to enhance user experience and system reliability. This involves all phases of the project lifecycle, from planning to deployment, including code reviews and performance optimization. Additionally, you will provide guidance and mentorship to junior and intermediate engineers. This fully remote role offers the opportunity to have a critical impact on Secureframe's continued growth and provides a dynamic environment dedicated to professional excellence and continuous learning. The salary range for this role is $180,000 - $210,000, with competitive equity offered.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with Product Management, Design, and other Engineering stakeholders to uphold a high quality standard in a fast-paced, iterative environment
- Step into a product management role when needed to ensure that solutions meet high standards
- Develop full stack features that address complex technical challenges, integrating both frontend and backend aspects to enhance user experience and system reliability
- Engage in all phases of project lifecycle, from planning to deployment, including code reviews and performance optimization
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior and intermediate engineers, helping them advance their skills and careers
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, Typescript, and a modern backend language (e.g., Ruby, Python, Java)
- Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals and software engineering principles
- Adaptable and excel in a fast-paced environment where priorities may shift rapidly
