Job Description

Shell is seeking an experienced OT Security Engineer to join their Technical Asset Support (TAS) team, primarily supporting Shell Terminals globally in the Trading & Supply organization. This role combines cybersecurity expertise with industrial control systems knowledge, making it a unique opportunity in the energy sector.

The position involves remote support for multiple terminals, working closely with Global/Regional ICE Leads, Facilities Engineers, and Site Focal Points. The successful candidate will be responsible for protecting industrial control systems from cyber threats, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with Shell and Industrial standards.

Key responsibilities include managing security compliance, developing monitoring dashboards, conducting vulnerability analyses, and leading continuous improvement initiatives. The role requires a strong background in Control & Automation within the Oil & Gas/Petrochemicals industry, with at least 7 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities For Engineer- Reliability PACO

  • Ensure compliance with Industrial and Shell's policies & standards
  • Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses
  • Develop Dashboards for terminals compliance monitoring
  • Manage MOC processes for OT systems changes
  • Execute annual LOD1 assessments
  • Develop and maintain System Life Cycle & Obsolescence plan
  • Provide first line support for alarm monitoring
  • Support Secure PCD related activities
  • Execute and maintain nodes/devices on Solarwinds
  • Lead Continuous Improvements initiatives in OT Security

Requirements For Engineer- Reliability PACO

  • Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation & Control engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent
  • 7 years experience in Control & Automation in Oil & Gas/Petrochemicals industry
  • Working knowledge of Cybersecurity/PCD integrity management
  • Knowledge of ISA/IEC 62243 standards
  • Experience with control systems (DCS, IPS, local panels)
  • Sound knowledge in Process Safety fundamentals
  • Excellent team working skills
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Self-motivation and high drive for performance
