Job Description
SHI International Corp, a $15 billion global provider of IT solutions and services, is seeking an Associate AI Solutions Engineer to join their innovative team. This role represents an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of AI technology implementation and solution development.
The position involves designing, developing, and operationalizing AI solutions that support customer engagements and AI Labs initiatives. As an Associate AI Solutions Engineer, you'll be working with cutting-edge technologies including RAG pipelines, fine-tuning platforms, and NVIDIA NIM-based workflows. The role combines hands-on technical work with customer-facing responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both technical challenges and collaborative environments.
Key responsibilities include maintaining AI Lab infrastructure, developing synthetic data pipelines, supporting AI Experience Tours, and contributing to partner integrations with major technology providers like NVIDIA, HPE, and Microsoft. You'll also be involved in exciting exploratory projects in areas such as Robotics & Physical AI, digital twins, and edge-AI frameworks.

The ideal candidate should have 2-4 years of relevant experience, strong technical knowledge of virtualization and data center technologies, and excellent communication skills. This role offers a salary range of $60,000 to $90,000 and provides an excellent opportunity to grow within a leading technology solutions provider while working with the latest AI technologies and enterprise-scale implementations.
Responsibilities For Associate AI Solutions Engineer
- Contribute to the engineering and deployment of AI offerings, including RAG pipelines, fine-tuning platforms, and NVIDIA NIM-based workflows
- Co-develop and refine solutions around synthetic data pipelines, multimodal inference, and Vision AI integrations
- Maintain and operationalize the AI Lab environment and physical infrastructure
- Assist in testing, labeling, and validating new hardware/software configurations
- Prepare and support weekly AI Experience Tours
- Build and maintain AI demo environments and customer-facing reference architectures
- Assist with partner integrations across ecosystem platforms
- Contribute to documentation and technical integration
- Participate in exploratory projects including Robotics & Physical AI, digital twins, and edge-AI frameworks
Requirements For Associate AI Solutions Engineer
- Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience required
- 2-4 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience working in complex Data Center sales opportunities
- Knowledge of Virtualization technologies, Hypervisors, server virtualization
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Experience with Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity solutions
- Knowledge of mainstream technologies including Dell Technologies, NetApp, HPE, Cisco, Pure Storage, Azure, AWS
- Advanced certification in one or more mainstream technologies preferred
