Senior Full Stack Engineer

Shield AI is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join their Applications team under Software Integration & Operations. This role focuses on building custom, internal applications that enable and optimize daily operations for the V-BAT product line, including manufacturing execution, fleet-sustainment, and software deployment systems. The position is based in the Dallas Metro Area and requires on-site presence.

The ideal candidate will independently own the design, implementation, and deployment of robust software solutions for manufacturing execution and resource planning for aircraft production lines. This role is perfect for engineers who thrive in an agile, fast-moving environment and are passionate about building modern software solutions for aircraft operations.

Working closely with internal stakeholders and cross-functional software teams, you'll develop tools that directly improve aircraft manufacturing, flight operations, and training. Your contributions will have immediate impact, with weekly deployments, and you'll maintain long-term ownership of the applications you build.

The role requires strong expertise in both frontend and backend development, with experience in modern JavaScript/TypeScript, frontend frameworks like React, and backend technologies such as Node.js or Python. You'll need to be comfortable with database design, RESTful APIs, and have strong analytical skills. The position offers a competitive salary range of $150,000 to $230,000 per year.
