Job Description
Showpad, the world's leading Enablement Operating System (eOS™), is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to join their team in Bucharest. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of AI and machine learning initiatives, working with cutting-edge technologies like LLama 3/3.1, Claude models, and AWS services. The position requires a hybrid work arrangement with 2 days in the office.
As a Senior AI Engineer, you'll be instrumental in developing and implementing AI technologies that align with business goals and drive innovation. You'll work with state-of-the-art technologies and be part of a company that continuously updates to the newest models and engages in extensive experimentation with prompt engineering.
The role combines technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, as you'll be expected to mentor team members and coordinate efforts across teams. You'll be working primarily with Python, TypeScript, and Kotlin, and will be responsible for designing and optimizing AI models and prompts.

Responsibilities For Senior AI Engineer
- Design, develop, and maintain robust AI models to solve complex business problems
- Oversee and direct projects from scoping to release
- Ensure the performance and reliability of AI and machine learning systems
- Coordinate efforts across teams
- Mentor and drive technical skills of the immediate or extended team
- Design, craft, and optimize prompts for AI systems
- Contribute to engineering/enablement and product strategy
Requirements For Senior AI Engineer
- Educational background in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI or related field
- 5+ years experience with developing and implementing AI models and algorithms
- Good knowledge of Python
- Hands-on experience working with LLMs and other Generative AI models
- Strong experience working with AWS or other cloud providers
- Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Passion for mentoring other team members
