As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of enhancing Side's infrastructure and streamlining deployment processes. This role requires a skilled professional with 5+ years of experience who can effectively manage cloud-based infrastructure, implement automation, and ensure system reliability. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies including Kubernetes, MongoDB, and various cloud platforms while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
The position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a hybrid environment from either Bengaluru or Hyderabad, India. You'll be responsible for designing scalable infrastructure, managing CI/CD pipelines, monitoring system performance, and implementing security best practices. Responsibilities For Senior DevOps Engineer
- Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud-based infrastructure using best practices
- Automate deployment processes and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery
- Monitor system performance and optimize resource utilization in live environments
- Work alongside development teams to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues
- Implement security best practices to protect our applications and data
- Document and maintain operational procedures and standards
Requirements For Senior DevOps Engineer
- 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or equivalent role
- Strong expertise with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Hands on experience in MongoDB / NoSQL is mandatory
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- Proficient in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) and automation tools
- Hands-on experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, or Chef)
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred)
