Sigma Defense is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to join their growing team, focusing on modernizing software practices within the Department of Defense. This role combines security and DevOps expertise, requiring 2-5 years of information assurance experience and strong skills in Kubernetes, Linux, Infrastructure as Code, and Networking.

The position offers a competitive salary range of $110,000 - $149,000 annually, along with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company matching, and generous PTO. The role is remote-friendly, though preferably based in Charleston, SC.

Key responsibilities include creating Infrastructure as Code for environment ingress management and developing containerized Risk Management Framework processes. The ideal candidate should have experience with tools like Terraform, Ansible, Helm, and Flux, and either possess or be able to obtain a Secret security clearance.

Requirements For DevSecOps Engineer

  • 2-5 years of prior information assurance experience
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, Linux, Helm, and Flux
  • Strong background in Kubernetes, Linux, Infrastructure as Code, and Networking
  • Must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance or higher
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or similar field (or equivalent experience)
