Sigma Defense is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer IV to join their team in San Diego, CA. Responsibilities For DevSecOps Engineer IV
- Design, develop, and improve the automation pipeline and integrated deployment processes
- Build new containers, systems, and environments
- Perform technical support to the team and assist in developing security protocols
- Utilize DevOps tools to ensure the code compiles and passes tests
- Develop and execute regression test scripts to verify system functionality
- Assist the team with upgrades and patches of virtual environments
Requirements For DevSecOps Engineer IV
- 3+ years of experience with a Linux operating system
- Jenkins experience preferred, but GitLab pipelines are acceptable
- Experience managing software version control and software source code base
- Experience developing software using an Agile framework
- Experience building containerized systems using Docker and/or Podman
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II - Security+ (or equivalent)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance
- Linux, Red Hat, and Fedora experience
