Job Description
SigNoz is a global open-source project focused on building an open-source application monitoring tool that helps developers monitor their applications and troubleshoot problems quickly. As a DevRel Engineer, you will be instrumental in engaging with the developer community, creating developer-focused content such as blogs and videos, and presenting at conferences and meetups. You will also assist users in setting up SigNoz, understand their use cases, and present the product in both online and in-person events. This role offers the chance to work on a global dev infra product, evangelize an open-source solution, and interact with a vibrant community. Backed by YC and prominent VCs, SigNoz offers a fully remote work environment. The compensation range for this position is $150K - $200K, along with healthcare and 401K benefits. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about open-source, community engagement, and developer tools to make a significant impact.
Responsibilities
- Create dev focused blogs or videos, speak at dev-facing conferences
- Organize meetup / present in meetups & conferences about SigNoz
- Help users out in setting up SigNoz and understand their usecases
- Engage in online dev communities and present the product in online/in-person meetups
Requirements
- 1+ yrs experience as a software engineer
- Can get your hand dirty in codes in different languages and deployment methods (think k8s, docker)
- Active in dev communities like Github or different dev focused slack communities. Open source contributions are a big plus
- Understanding of cloud native ecosystem, kubernetes, OpenTelemetry (plus)
- Curious and having a get stuff done attitude
