Job Description
The Singapore Tourism Board (STB) is seeking a Contract Data Engineer to join their data team. Responsibilities For Contract Data Engineer
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and analysts to create data tools and pipelines
- Project manage and work with vendors and stakeholders on data engineering implementations
- Design and implement self-managed data processing and compilation pipelines
- Prepare, process, cleanse and verify data integrity
- Architect data integrations between external sources, AWS Cloud warehouses, and internal systems
- Implement DataOps processes for continuous integration and deployment
- Develop monitoring toolkits for integration success tracking
- Work with data partners to assemble complex datasets
- Review and enhance data collection procedures
- Optimize data systems and improve data reliability
Requirements For Contract Data Engineer
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Informatics, Applied Mathematics or Statistics
- 5+ years of work experience in related field
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Proficiency in R, Python, and SQL
- Experience with structured and unstructured datasets
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Experience with DataOps and deploying models
- Knowledge of AWS services (SageMaker, Athena, RDS, ECR, ECS, EMR, Lambda, Redis)
- Experience with Qlik Sense
