Responsibilities For Senior System Engineer (High Integrity Systems IPT Lead)
- Lead the High Integrity (HI) system design for UAM flight monitoring and traffic surveillance
- Lead development, decomposition, and tracking of HI system requirements
- Lead development, modeling, and documentation of HI system's functional and physical architecture
- Lead identification of HI system interfaces and support integration of data service providers
- Support development and review of test plans and documentation
- Support component procurement and conduct system trade studies
- Support design reviews through system development
- Support technology maturation of advanced system functionality
- Responsible for system HW/SW deliveries per program plan
- Provide executive status reports to leadership
Requirements For Senior System Engineer (High Integrity Systems IPT Lead)
- Bachelor's degree in Systems, Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical Engineering or related STEM degree
- 10+ years of experience in aerospace-related industry
- 5+ years of experience as a technical team lead
- Experience with certified aerospace programs and SE design process
- Familiarity with ARP 4754A and ability to support System Safety reviews per ARP 4761
- Understanding of DO178C and DO331 development process
- Proven experience in system/software architectural design
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and practices
- Mastery of system architecture concepts
