Solvd, an AI-first advisory and digital engineering firm, is seeking a Senior AI Infrastructure Engineer to join their global team. This role focuses on designing, building, and scaling AI and data infrastructure, with emphasis on cloud-based MLOps pipelines. The position requires expertise in AWS, Databricks, and Python, working with cutting-edge AI technologies including LLMs and RAG architectures.
The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in software and infrastructure engineering, bringing strong expertise in cloud-native technologies, infrastructure-as-code, and ML operations. Responsibilities For Senior AI Infrastructure Engineer (Databricks, AWS, Python)
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud-native infrastructure to support AI and data workloads
- Build and manage scalable data pipelines
- Develop infrastructure-as-code using Cloudformation, AWS CDK
- Collaborate with AI engineers to improve performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency
- Drive best practices for observability
- Contribute to the design and evolution of AI platform
- Stay current with new tools and technologies
- Integrate AI models and LLMs into production systems
Requirements For Senior AI Infrastructure Engineer (Databricks, AWS, Python)
- 7+ years of professional experience in software engineering and infrastructure engineering
- Extensive experience building and maintaining AI/ML infrastructure in production
- Strong knowledge of AWS and infrastructure-as-code frameworks
- Expert-level coding skills in TypeScript and Python
- Production-level experience with Databricks MLFlow
- Expert level understanding of containerization (Docker)
- Proven ability to design reliable, secure, and scalable infrastructure
- Ability to articulate ideas clearly and present findings persuasively
- Strong collaboration skills
- Familiarity with emerging LLM frameworks
- Understanding of LLM cost monitoring
- Knowledge of vector databases / embeddings stores
