Job Description

Solventum, formerly 3M Healthcare, is seeking a Performance Engineering Software Engineer Developer in Test to join their team. This role combines software development and performance engineering expertise to ensure optimal system performance and reliability. As a key member of the Performance Testing Team, you'll be responsible for designing and maintaining automation frameworks, optimizing SQL queries, and enhancing testing infrastructure.

The position offers a competitive salary range of $119,076 – $145,537 and comes with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans. Working remotely, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, ensuring seamless user experiences.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in performance testing, automation frameworks, and object-oriented programming. Responsibilities For Performance Engineering Software Engineer Developer in Test

  • Develop and maintain Jenkins jobs to enhance automation workflows
  • Build tools and frameworks for automated performance testing
  • Execute and report performance, load, and stress testing results
  • Troubleshoot slow SQL queries and optimize system performance
  • Identify and document bugs, anomalies, and system inefficiencies for resolution

Requirements For Performance Engineering Software Engineer Developer in Test

Python
Java
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or related fields AND 5 years of experience with Software Development and Performance Engineering
  • 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance & Development related to performance testing
  • 5 years of experience with object-oriented languages and principles (.NET, C++, or Java)
  • 3 years of hands-on experience with Python, JMeter and Selenium scripting on Linux, Windows, and cloud-based technologies
  • 2 years of working experience with APM tools (such as Dynatrace or New Relic for diagnostics)
  • Deep understanding of CI/CD processes
  • Experience with GitHub and Jenkins
  • Strong analytical skills
