Responsibilities For Automation & Controls Engineer (Critical Infrastructure)

  • Participate in initial equipment conceptual development
  • Layout industrial electrical control panels
  • Simulate processes using ABB Robotstudio, Kuka Sim and Siemens Process Simulate
  • Architect, write, and debug PLC code
  • Generate HMI screens for machinery
  • Manage electrical cabinet builds and field wiring
  • Select and size electrical components
  • Deploy automated processes into production
  • Set and maintain project schedules and budgets

Requirements For Automation & Controls Engineer (Critical Infrastructure)

Python
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
  • 1+ years of professional experience in automation and controls systems
  • Knowledge in building automation systems
  • PLC programming experience
  • HMI and SCADA programming experience
  • Field bus networks experience
  • Knowledge of NEC, NFPA 79, UL508A codes
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must be willing to work extended hours and travel as needed
