As a Satellite On-Orbit Hardware Reliability Engineer for the Starlink program, you'll be at the forefront of managing the world's largest satellite constellation, which currently provides fast, reliable internet to over 6 million users worldwide.

You'll work cross-functionally with design, production, and operations teams to analyze on-orbit data and drive improvements. Responsibilities For Satellite On-Orbit Hardware Reliability Engineer (Starlink)

  • Analyze and track on-orbit hardware failures for the Starlink satellite constellation
  • Drive root cause investigation for major on-orbit hardware anomalies
  • Work closely with engineers from adjacent disciplines to eliminate sources of on-orbit failure
  • Drive continual improvements to constellation by building and using tools to analyze data
  • Continuously improve the feedback loop from space using communication and automation

Requirements For Satellite On-Orbit Hardware Reliability Engineer (Starlink)

Python
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics or other STEM discipline
  • 1+ years of professional experience in hardware development, hardware troubleshooting, or data analysis
  • 1+ years of experience with Python and SQL
  • Willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed for mission critical deadlines
