As a Satellite On-Orbit Hardware Reliability Engineer for the Starlink program, you'll be at the forefront of managing the world's largest satellite constellation, which currently provides fast, reliable internet to over 6 million users worldwide.

Your role will be crucial in investigating, analyzing, and tracking hardware reliability for the largest space vehicle fleet in history. You'll work cross-functionally with design, production, and operations teams to analyze on-orbit data and drive improvements. This position combines hands-on failure investigation with sophisticated data analysis to determine root causes of hardware anomalies.

The role offers a unique opportunity to impact space technology at multiple levels - from detailed component analysis to constellation-wide implications. You'll be responsible for ensuring hardware reliability increases over time through data-driven insights and continuous improvement initiatives. The position requires strong analytical skills, programming capabilities in Python and SQL, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

SpaceX offers comprehensive benefits including medical coverage, 401(k), stock options, and paid leave. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about space technology and data analysis to contribute to a mission that's literally reaching for the stars.

The position requires a bachelor's degree in a STEM field and at least one year of relevant experience. You'll be joining a team that's dedicated to improving the reliability of cutting-edge space technology while working on the world's most advanced broadband internet system. The role offers competitive compensation ranging from $100,000 to $135,000 based on experience and qualifications.
