Sr. IT Systems Engineer

SpaceX is seeking an experienced Sr. IT Systems Engineer to join their Linux Infrastructure team. This role involves supporting flight software, avionics, and automation teams while working in a fast-paced environment. The position requires deep knowledge of Linux-based technologies and the ability to build highly-resilient, high-performance systems.

The ideal candidate will work closely with SpaceX engineers to gather requirements, evaluate, design, and deploy Linux-based/open source software platforms. They will be responsible for creating and managing processes, systems, and tools that support SpaceX's mission of making humanity an interplanetary species.
