Senior Android Engineer

As a Senior Android Engineer, you'll be integral to Speak's engineering team, working on crucial features that impact millions of users. Your responsibilities will include improving content delivery, implementing A/B tests for monetization, and supporting new market launches. You'll collaborate closely with backend engineers, product teams, and designers to build growth loops, enhance user acquisition and retention, and improve core systems like text-to-speech and audio/video streaming.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of industry experience in mobile engineering, preferably with exposure to apps serving 1M+ users. Strong proficiency in Kotlin and modern mobile architectures is essential, with bonus points for Jetpack Compose and mobile streaming technologies experience. You'll need expertise in reactive programming, mobile build practices, and Google Play Billing, along with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
