Job Description

Spotify, the world's leading audio streaming platform, is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join their S4A Product Area. This role is crucial in developing powerful tools that help artists and labels analyze their music performance on Spotify. As part of the CAMP team, you'll work on building and maintaining comprehensive music consumption datasets that provide valuable insights to artists.

The position involves working with hundreds of data pipelines that transform raw streaming data into meaningful aggregations, revealing patterns in listening behavior and audience engagement. You'll be using cutting-edge technologies like GCP, Scio, and distributed systems to handle large-scale data processing. The role combines technical expertise in data engineering with the opportunity to directly impact how artists understand and grow their audience.

Working in an agile environment, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, data scientists, and other engineers. The position offers the flexibility to work remotely within the North Americas region, with collaboration centered in the Eastern Standard time zone. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced data engineer who wants to combine their technical skills with a passion for music and artist empowerment.

The role comes with competitive compensation including equity, comprehensive benefits, and Spotify's commitment to work-life balance. The company strongly values diversity and inclusion, welcoming candidates from all backgrounds to contribute to their mission of unlocking human creativity.
