As a Production Support Engineer, you'll be part of a team focused on maintaining and improving production applications and systems. Your responsibilities will include application onboarding, incident management, performance optimization, and implementing automation solutions. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies including cloud platforms (Azure), containerization (AKS), and modern databases (Snowflake, Cosmos DB).
The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of L3 Production Support experience, strong programming skills in Python and SQL, and experience with infrastructure automation tools. Responsibilities For Production Support Engineer - Senior Associate
- Onboarding applications on to Production management with the highest onboarding standards
- Troubleshoot priority incidents and facilitate blameless post-mortems
- Perform analytics on previous incidents and usage patterns
- Build and drive adoption for greater self-healing and resiliency patterns
- Participate in performance tests and identify bottlenecks
- Engage with development team throughout the life cycle
- Design automated software and product upgrades
- Participate in 24x7 support coverage as needed
Requirements For Production Support Engineer - Senior Associate
- B.S/M.S. Degree
- 1 year as L3 Production Support analyst
- SQL Knowledge, Shell scripting, Python, Ansible
- ITIL knowledge
- Working knowledge in telemetry and triaging systems (Splunk, Dynatrace, Geneos)
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Understanding of AKS, Snowflake, Cosmos DB, Azure ecosystem, Databricks, Unix
- Excellent Communication Skills
