Product Engineer

As a Product Engineer at Stepful, you'll be working on critical systems that directly impact student success:

• World Class Learning Experience: Develop an advanced Learning Management System focusing on seamless UX, adaptive learning, peer-to-peer engagement, and gamification
• Innovative Career Services: Build tools for job matching and leverage generative AI for resume creation and interview preparation
• Internal Workforce Platform: Create systems for instructors, TAs, and coaches to optimize student success
• Content Management: Develop scalable solutions for curriculum creation and iteration
• Data Infrastructure: Build reliable data pipelines to enable data-driven decision making

The role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in healthcare education while working with modern technologies like React, TypeScript, Ruby on Rails, and PostgreSQL. You'll be joining a mission-driven team backed by Y Combinator, Reach Capital, and AlleyCorp, with recent funding from Oak HC/FT.

The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of engineering experience, preferably in edtech or healthcare, with expertise in our tech stack. You should be passionate about solving complex problems, comfortable with full-stack development, and excited about joining an early-stage company. Success in this role requires a commitment to student outcomes, data-driven iteration, collaborative teamwork, and taking ownership of projects.
