Lead Forward Deployed Engineer

As a Lead Forward Deployed Engineer, you'll be responsible for transforming how our customers make critical business decisions by onboarding them onto Taktile and ensuring they get real value from our platform. You'll lead and manage onboarding projects from start to finish, delivering outstanding customer experiences and ensuring rapid time to value. Your role involves applying technical expertise to build impactful solutions, designing solution architectures, developing decision logic and AI agents, and collaborating with key stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading customer onboarding projects from inception to completion
• Designing and implementing solution architectures for complex business challenges
• Partnering with product management to transform customer insights into product improvements
• Scaling the forward deployed engineering function through creating reusable resources and best practices
• Coaching and mentoring junior Forward Deployed Engineers

Requirements:

• Strong technical background in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or related fields
• Excellent knowledge of Python, SQL, and REST APIs
• Ability to build strong relationships with technical and business stakeholders
• Experience in project planning and managing multiple concurrent projects
• Strong communication skills and excellent written and spoken English

Ideal qualifications:

• 6+ years experience as a Forward Deployed Engineer or similar role
• Experience building AI applications
• Knowledge of statistical and machine learning models
• Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Spanish/Portuguese language skills a plus
