System Engineer

Talentsis is seeking a System Engineer to join their team in Singapore. Responsibilities For System Engineer
- Design, implement, and manage complex systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and specifications
- Troubleshoot system issues and conduct root cause analysis to prevent future occurrences
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, servers, and applications
- Perform regular system monitoring, backups, and disaster recovery procedures
- Document system designs, configurations, and operational guidelines for reference
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend system enhancements
Requirements For System Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of experience as a System Engineer or related role
- Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, or UNIX) and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation tasks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSE, RHCE) are a plus
