Senior Platform Engineer

As a Senior Platform Engineer, you'll be responsible for building, automating, and scaling Taptap's cloud infrastructure. This role involves working with AWS services, critical IT services, and monitoring systems. The ideal candidate loves writing Python, using Docker and Terraform to automate cloud infrastructure, and enjoys optimizing for cost and scale.

Key responsibilities include:

• Owning and maturing Taptap Send's cloud infrastructure for improved cost-effectiveness, reliability, and scalability.
• Driving infrastructure as code projects and architecture improvements.
• Collaborating with other engineering teams to ensure optimal system operation.
• Assuring effective integration between cloud environment and core IT systems.
• Participating in the service reliability process.

Requirements:

• Hands-on cloud experience, especially in AWS (certification preferred).
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, Cloudformation, and Ansible.
• Knowledge of cloud networking and container schedulers (ECS, EKS, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and monitoring solutions.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Experience with identity management systems for SSO.
• Degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.
