Head of Engineering - AI Mental Health Start Up

We are seeking an exceptional Head of Engineering with expertise in AI and healthcare for an innovative mental health start-up. This role involves leading the technical function, managing the engineering team, and spearheading the development of an AI coach for stress management.

The company is revolutionizing workplace stress management through a precision health platform. Their solution creates individual health plans using proprietary data and provides access to hundreds of live and on-demand content pieces covering neuroscience, nutrition, movement, mindfulness, and sleep.

As the Head of Engineering, you will:

• Lead the technical function and manage the engineering team
• Own the tech stack and set standards for technical delivery
• Lead research and development into new technologies
• Ensure the tech stack is equipped with business analytics
• Build and execute on the roadmap to become the AI coach for stress
• Develop a stress index with multiple data inputs
• Create a recommendation engine for targeted stress management solutions

The ideal candidate should have:

• Passion for AI and its potential to transform health
• 6+ years of experience in AI engineering and management roles
• BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (graduate degree is a plus)
• Experience in building and scaling consumer tech products
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Expertise in web and native mobile application development
• Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment
