Intern - BI Developer

Tecsys is seeking an enthusiastic individual with Data and Analytics interest for a 4-month, full-time paid internship in their BI & Analytics (BI&A) Team. The internship runs from January 6 to May 2, 2025, with 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday. As an intern, you'll work with experienced developers, gaining hands-on experience in building web-based enhancement reports and data visualizations using Vue.js, CSS, JavaScript, and reporting tools. You'll also assist in supporting and maintaining reports.

The ideal candidate should have:

• Strong interest in web development and data reporting
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (Vue.js, CSS, JavaScript)
• Comfort with visualization/reporting tools like Cognos
• Team player mentality
• Problem-solving skills and interest in improving user interfaces
• Good communication skills
• Strong English communication skills (written and spoken)

Additional beneficial skills:

• Experience with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Familiarity with data languages (SQL, Python)
• Reporting experience (dashboards, enhancement reports)
• Bilingual in French and English
