This role combines software development and hardware testing expertise, requiring someone who can bridge the gap between electronic systems and software testing. The role involves developing and implementing comprehensive testing methodologies for electronic systems, with a focus on IC and FPA testing. As a Test Engineer, you'll be responsible for the full testing lifecycle - from requirements gathering to test execution and reporting. The position comes with competitive compensation ranging from $77,000 to $102,600, depending on experience and qualifications.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in test engineering, with a strong foundation in electronic principles and programming. You should be comfortable reading schematic diagrams, working with electronic components, and have experience with CMOS circuits. Knowledge of imaging sensors and wafer probe stations is a plus.

Responsibilities For Test Engineer
- Work with design team and customer to formulate test requirements
- Prepare test matrix for new IC and/or FPA test
- Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Write test code for IC characterization and probe test
- Prepare characterization and wafer probe test stations
- Perform required characterization and production probe tests
- Write test procedures and test reports
- Support and conduct performance testing
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks
- Assist design team in understanding and correcting design deficiencies
Requirements For Test Engineer
- 5 years of related experience
- Knowledge of electronic principles and components
- Basic understanding of CMOS circuits
- Ability to read schematic diagrams
- Proficiency in C#, Python, Verilog, and Microsoft Visual Basic
- Ability to assemble printed circuit test boards and solder components
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills - oral, listening & written
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with imaging sensors, dewars and associated equipment (desired)
- Experience with wafer probe stations and associated equipment (desired)
