Responsibilities For Cellular Systems Test Engineer
- Develop comprehensive end-to-end test plans, procedures, and scripts for Tesla's cellular protocol stack
- Collaborate with software development and manufacturing teams for testing support and integration
- Investigate and resolve issues reported by QA teams and customer feedback
- Contribute to test automation frameworks and data analysis tools development
- Analyze telemetry data to identify fleet-wide issues and optimization areas
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Lead and manage key tasks to completion
Requirements For Cellular Systems Test Engineer
- Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering with focus on Wireless Communication or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of experience in the Cellular industry
- Strong understanding of 5G, LTE, UMTS, CDMA, and GSM technologies
- In-depth knowledge of 3GPP protocols
- Experience with field trials, IoT, IODT, or related testing environments
- Solid understanding of networking concepts
- Proficiency in Python, adb, Shell scripting
- Experience with Cellular test equipment and test automation frameworks
- Familiarity with Docker, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD tools
- Experience in Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
