Responsibilities For Climate Controls Calibration Engineer, Vehicle Controls

  • Lead Climate Controls Calibration for new programs
  • Monitor, investigate, and root-cause customer feedback of climate control performance
  • Develop and validate calibration updates for climate control functions
  • Identify gaps in existing climate control algorithms
  • Execute test plans across changing seasons and vehicle platforms
  • Coordinate and execute test-trips in various climatic conditions
  • Be the voice of the customer for HVAC hardware design

Requirements For Climate Controls Calibration Engineer, Vehicle Controls

  • Strong grasp of heat-transfer fundamentals, HVAC systems, and human thermal comfort
  • Ability to conceptualize, plan, and execute experiments on thermal problems
  • Basic proficiency with Embedded Software in C/C++
  • Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent
  • Willingness to travel ~30% of the time
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Professional work experience in a calibration role preferred
