Responsibilities For Climate Controls Calibration Engineer, Vehicle Controls
- Lead Climate Controls Calibration for new programs
- Monitor, investigate, and root-cause customer feedback of climate control performance
- Develop and validate calibration updates for climate control functions
- Identify gaps in existing climate control algorithms
- Execute test plans across changing seasons and vehicle platforms
- Coordinate and execute test-trips in various climatic conditions
- Be the voice of the customer for HVAC hardware design
Requirements For Climate Controls Calibration Engineer, Vehicle Controls
- Strong grasp of heat-transfer fundamentals, HVAC systems, and human thermal comfort
- Ability to conceptualize, plan, and execute experiments on thermal problems
- Basic proficiency with Embedded Software in C/C++
- Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent
- Willingness to travel ~30% of the time
- Valid driver's license required
- Professional work experience in a calibration role preferred
