Tesla's R&D Test Systems Engineering (TSE) team is seeking an Electrical Field Support Engineer to join their innovative team. The position involves working with Tesla's cutting-edge technologies, including high-power bidirectional converters, motor/powertrain dynamometers, and vehicle inverters. As an Electrical Field Support Engineer, you'll lead troubleshooting efforts, analyze data, and drive system improvements.   • Develop, validate, and integrate end-to-end electrical hardware test solutions
  • Lead collaborative troubleshooting efforts with cross-functional teams
  • Analyze data, generate reports, and communicate results
  • Investigate and document equipment failures (RCA)
  • Create validation test plans, procedures, and reports
  • Lead validation testing and system integration
  • Perform component, board, and system level measurements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 3 years of professional experience
  • Hands-on hardware design and testing experience in power electronics
  • Experience in PCB layout with Altium
  • Experience with modeling and circuit simulation tools

  • Strong knowledge of dynos, motors, power systems
