Responsibilities For Engineering Technician, Cell Testing, Abuse Test & Engineering
- Lead and conduct abuse tests on cells and components under electrical, mechanical and thermal stresses
- Collaborate with Engineers on technical reviews
- Plan test execution and manage logistics
- Design, fabricate, and modify test fixtures and equipment
- Conduct pre-test measurements and post-test teardowns
- Provide clear documentation of test setup, results, and teardown findings
- Train Technicians on new test methods and techniques
- Perform periodic maintenance, calibration, and repairs
Requirements For Engineering Technician, Cell Testing, Abuse Test & Engineering
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in a lab, or field setting
- High awareness of safety hazards, procedures, and best practices
- Extensive hands-on experience with machining, and power tools
- Electrical and thermal fundamentals
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Complex troubleshooting skills
- Experience with data acquisition systems
- Ability to collaborate and build test rigs to specifications
- Flexibility to work in South Bay Area sites
