Tesla is seeking an entry-level Engineering Technician to join their Interiors team in Fremont, California. This hands-on role focuses on supporting accelerated product durability testing for vehicle interior components. The role involves direct interaction with vehicle components, including assembly and disassembly of interior elements such as door trim, center consoles, and instrument panel pieces. Responsibilities For Engineering Technician, Interiors

  • Execute tests: setup, perform inspections, conduct maintenance, and retrofits
  • Document and report issues identified during tests or inspections
  • Collaborate with engineers to resolve mechanical & electrical issues
  • Collect pre-test and post-test data on components through thermal cycling
  • Support Engineers in instrumentation and data acquisition
  • Assist and learn from other technicians and engineers
  • Assemble & wire test fixtures
