Tesla's Low Voltage Power Firmware Team is seeking a Firmware Validation Engineer to join their innovative automotive technology division. Responsibilities For Firmware Validation Engineer, Low Voltage Power
- Design, implement, validate, and maintain component-level testers (HIL and SIL)
- Create software models of physical systems
- Design software validation infrastructure
- Create and execute test plans
- Design advanced automated test suites
- Create reporting mechanisms for automated testing
- Understand and deconstruct complicated software systems
- Report test coverage and evaluation metrics
Requirements For Firmware Validation Engineer, Low Voltage Power
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering
- 1+ year of relevant experience in embedded design/validation
- Proficiency in Python and comprehension of C
- Expertise testing devices and debugging hardware
- Experience in electronic and system schematic design (Altium Designer) preferred
- Experience with HIL/SIL test setups preferred
- Familiarity with National Instrument Testing Software preferred
- Knowledge of source control (Git) and continuous integration (Jenkins) preferred
