  • Improve robot's behavior in the real world
  • Develop capabilities in simulation engine for fast iteration
  • Write high-quality code for deployment in thousands of humanoid robots

Requirements For Internship, Generalist Controls Engineer, Tesla Bot (Winter/Spring 2025)

  • Currently working towards an advanced degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, Automotive, Robotics Engineering or related field with graduation date in 2025
  • Experience with state estimation through IMU, encoders, force sensors etc.
  • Experience working on bipedal robots or other multi-DOF robotic hardware
  • Experience with shipping control algorithms on real products at scale
  • Experience programming in C or C++
  • Practical experience with closed-loop controls system development
