Tesla is offering an exciting Network Engineering internship opportunity for Summer 2025 within their Infrastructure Engineering team.   • Work closely with Staff Network Engineers on design and initiatives
  • Maintain current network solution within manufacturing, workplace, retail, and data center environment
  • Function as a Tier 2-3 escalation point
  • Requirements gathering, analyze, and propose solution to networking needs
  • Provision, implement, test/validation, and maintain networking services per solution design
  • Conduct product POC evaluation
  • Monitor, analyze, and report metrics of network services
  • Document network knowledge base and operational Run-Book
  • Participate in on call rotation (potential weekend)

Linux
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field of study and graduating between 2025-2026
  • Experience with mid-large global enterprise networking infrastructure
  • Familiarity in IP networking, L2/L3 network protocols, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, QOS, VLAN, VRRP, LACP, MC-LAG, EVPN with VXLAN, ACL
  • Must be able to work 40 hours per week on-site
  • Minimum commitment of 12 weeks, full-time
