Tesla is offering an exciting Software Engineering Internship opportunity for Summer 2025, focused on their Simulation Platform team. This role is perfect for students pursuing degrees in Computer Science or related fields who are passionate about automotive technology and backend development.

The position involves working with Tesla's cutting-edge vehicle firmware development infrastructure, where you'll be responsible for architecting and developing next-generation async Rust Tokio based systems. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to software applications that play a critical role in Tesla's vehicle firmware development process, supporting all current and future vehicle programs.

As an intern, you'll be immersed in developing backend infrastructure services, creating CLI tools, and working on big data synchronization systems.
