Responsibilities For Internship, Validation Engineer Low Voltage Power Management, Vehicle Firmware (Summer 2025)
- Design, implement, validate, and maintain component-level testers (HIL and SIL)
- Create software models of physical systems for Tesla vehicles
- Work with development engineers on software validation infrastructure
- Create reporting mechanisms for automated testing
- Analyze software systems and create test strategies
- Create and execute test plans
- Report automated test coverage and metrics
Requirements For Internship, Validation Engineer Low Voltage Power Management, Vehicle Firmware (Summer 2025)
- Currently pursuing a degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Expected graduation date between August 2025-August 2026
- Proficiency in Python and comprehension of C
- Experience with Rust preferred
- Experience in electronic and system schematic design (Altium Designer) preferred
- Experience with HIL/SIL test setups preferred
- Knowledge of source control (Git) and continuous integration (Jenkins) preferred
