Responsibilities For Reliability Engineer, Power Electronics

  • Apply reliability methods and power electronics knowledge to design accelerated test plans
  • Analyze field usage and environmental conditions
  • Generate process validation test plans for suppliers
  • Lead design FMEA sessions to assess product risks
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve failures
  • Provide reliability design guidelines
  • Drive root cause corrective action with suppliers

Requirements For Reliability Engineer, Power Electronics

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience in power electronics / high voltage laboratory testing
  • PCB Board level experience
  • Understanding of Highly Accelerated testing methods
  • Experience with reliability guidelines
  • Knowledge of reliability statistics including Weibull analysis
  • Working knowledge of failure analysis techniques
  • Self-driven with ability to manage parallel tasks
  • Proven ability to remain engaged and positive in tough circumstances
