Responsibilities For Staff Systems Engineer, Tesla Bot Manufacturing
- Work with hardware and software engineering teams from concept through production
- Provide manufacturing insights during product definition
- Drive manufacturing line development from concept to full-scale production
- Lead development of prototype manufacturing equipment
- Formulate assembly sequences and define quality parameters
- Partner with technician team for design modifications
- Lead internal/external equipment suppliers
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, software, and algorithmic issues
- Calculate equipment capacity and line balancing
Requirements For Staff Systems Engineer, Tesla Bot Manufacturing
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in CAD tools (Catia and AutoCAD preferred)
- Proficiency in mechanical assembly
- Proficiency in electrical integration and testing
- Experience with torque tools, automation equipment, and control systems
- Experience in transitioning products from prototype to production
- Strong problem-solving skills using first principles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Meticulous attention to detail
