Associate Software Test Engineer

As an Associate Software Test Engineer, you'll work closely with the software quality and development team to ensure high-quality standards for all Texthelp products. You'll be part of an Agile sprint team, utilizing manual testing techniques and analyzing automated test plan results.

Key responsibilities include:

• Testing a range of software products (web applications, web services, desktop, and mobile applications)
• Maintaining and running manual tests and conducting exploratory testing
• Participating in daily sprint meetings and providing feedback on testing progress
• Logging bugs and testing progress in an Agile project management system
• Analyzing automated test results and logging related bugs

Essential criteria:

• Degree in Software Engineering or equivalent
• 1+ years of experience in software testing
• Experience with Agile sprint teams and manual test plans
• Web application testing and debugging experience
• Basic knowledge of software testing methodologies

Desirable skills include knowledge of iOS and Android, browser extensions, Microsoft DevOps, test automation tools (preferably Selenium WebDriver), REST API testing, and basic JavaScript knowledge.
