Thaloz is seeking a Senior DevOps Go Developer to join their Platform Engineering team. This role focuses on developing Go-based Kubernetes controllers and operators for their GitOps-driven Kubernetes hosting platform. The position requires expertise in Go programming, Kubernetes architecture, and cloud-native technologies. The ideal candidate will work on automating infrastructure, implementing GitHub integrations, and driving best practices in testing and observability. This is a remote position based in Brazil, offering the opportunity to influence platform engineering at scale and solve complex technical challenges in a cloud-native environment. The role involves both technical leadership and hands-on development, requiring skills in Go, Kubernetes, GitOps, CI/CD, and various cloud technologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining critical infrastructure components, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring platform reliability and performance through modern observability practices.

- Architect, implement, and maintain Kubernetes controllers and operators written in Go
- Develop automation services integrated with GitHub APIs
- Build and maintain developer-facing CLI tools
- Enforce policy compliance through API-level validation mechanisms
- Champion Shift Left and Shift Right testing methodologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Lead technical discussions and provide mentorship
- Monitor and enhance platform observability
- Drive continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends

- Expert-level proficiency in Go programming language
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes architecture
- Hands-on experience with GitOps principles and tools

- Skilled in writing and managing Terraform configurations
- Experience working with Microsoft Azure cloud services
- Proficient in containerization concepts and Docker tooling
- Proven track record of designing and implementing Kubernetes controllers
- Experience developing automated policy enforcement mechanisms
- Expertise in designing and implementing API validation strategies
- Familiarity with static code analysis tools
- Experience setting up and managing Prometheus
- Knowledge of OpenTelemetry standards
