Responsibilities For Senior Cloud Engineer
- Lead design, deployment, and optimization of Azure cloud environments
- Architect hybrid connectivity across Azure and on-prem environments
- Implement governance and cost management using Azure Policies
- Design scalable infrastructure for Epic application integration
- Develop BCDR strategies using Azure Backup and Site Recovery
- Build and manage Azure environments using Terraform and GitOps
- Automate operational tasks using PowerShell, Bash, or Python
- Ensure HIPAA compliance through security implementations
- Lead technical efforts for cloud readiness assessments
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to innovation
Requirements For Senior Cloud Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
- Five or more years of experience in infrastructure or cloud engineering roles with at 3 years focused on Azure
- Expert-level knowledge of Azure compute, networking, storage, and identity services
- Experience with Terraform and Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, or Python)
- Ability to design and document enterprise-scale cloud architectures in regulated environments
