This is Gain Ltd is seeking a Mid-Level Web Developer to join their GAIN Performance Creative team. The role focuses on technical implementation of web and digital development, requiring expertise in creating high-quality, structured code. The position involves working in a collaborative environment with Developers, Project Managers, UX Specialists, and Designers. The company handles diverse projects ranging from local regional brochure sites to complex ecommerce platforms for multinational companies. The ideal candidate will be technically proficient in PHP, JavaScript, and various web technologies, with strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The role offers a hybrid work environment based in Mumbai, India, and requires experience with modern web development practices, including API integrations, database management, and various CMS platforms. This position provides an opportunity to work on impactful projects while contributing to both technical implementation and client consultation.
Responsibilities For Web Developer
- Create high quality, structured, reusable and annotated code
- Work with third party open-source packages and relevant code libraries
- Communicate with team members across different departments
- Contribute ideas and innovate where required
- Provide expert advice to potential and current clients
- Design, build, manage and maintain websites from small brochure sites to complex ecommerce platforms
Requirements For Web Developer
- High level of PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, SASS knowledge
- Fully comfortable with Object Orientated Programming
- WordPress & Shopify bespoke theme and functionality development
- Experience managing large data sets (CSV, JSON, XML)
- High level of API integration knowledge and experience
- Backend development experience
- Database management (MySQL) skills
- Standards compliant code knowledge
- Self-motivated and capable of working both autonomously and as part of a team
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
