Job Description
Toyota Financial Services (TFS) is seeking a Software Engineer to join their Banking and Commercial Lending team supporting Internal Applications. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a world-renowned automotive company's financial arm.
As a Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing and developing scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Python, while also building intuitive front-end interfaces using modern frameworks like React and Angular. The role involves working with cloud-native technologies (AWS, Azure) for high-availability deployments, applying modern software engineering practices including CI/CD and automated testing, and exploring emerging technologies like LLMs and AI-assisted development tools.

Responsibilities For Software Engineer – Internal Applications
- Design and develop scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Python
- Build intuitive, responsive front-end interfaces using modern UI/UX frameworks
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand user needs

- Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications using cloud-native technologies

Requirements For Software Engineer – Internal Applications
- Strong programming experience in Java (Spring Boot) and/or Python
- Proficiency in front-end development using frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js
- Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices architectures
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Solid understanding of software design principles, agile development, and DevOps practices
