As a Software Engineer, you'll be directly impacting the Tezos ecosystem, working on either the Core protocol team (using Rust and OCaml) or the Developer Experience team (using Python, TypeScript, and Rust).
The ideal candidate will have strong software engineering experience, solid computer science fundamentals, and an interest in functional programming. Responsibilities For Software Engineer
- Work on the forefront of innovation in blockchains
- Make a direct impact on the Tezos ecosystem
- Come up with new ideas and put them into production
- Collaborate with other Engineers in the Tezos ecosystem
- Solve complex and challenging problems
- Optimize public blockchain and create new features (for core protocol team)
- Create open sourcing tools and environments for developers (for DevX team)
Requirements For Software Engineer
- Strong hands-on experience in software engineering
- Strong computer fundamentals (e.g. algorithms, data structures and concurrency)
- Interest in Functional Programming (prior experience a bonus for the Core team)
- Knowledge of Python, Rust or TypeScript for DevX team
- Good communication skills
- Passion for collaboration and innovation
