Job Description

truemetrics is revolutionizing the way organizations navigate the world efficiently by solving one of the biggest pain points in last mile delivery. Our technology, embedded in courier smartphones, understands where they park, walk, and enter buildings, currently mapping locations across Kazakhstan, Qatar, Germany, Switzerland, the UK, and other countries.

We are a tech-driven, customer-obsessed company with a small but highly skilled team, pushing the boundaries of what's possible in mapping and positioning. Our mission is to help thousands of delivery drivers navigate cities more efficiently through advanced problems in positioning, sensor fusion, and large-scale data processing.

As our first Software Engineer in Analytics and Algorithms, you'll work directly with the CTO, having the opportunity to make significant impact while carrying substantial responsibility. You'll be involved in data preparation, analysis, prototype development, and algorithm improvement, ensuring our customers gain valuable insights and our features maintain high quality and reliability.

The role combines strong Python development (3-5+ years required) with analytical thinking and cloud expertise (AWS Lambda, Athena, S3). You'll be tackling complex problems in data visualization, geospatial data processing, and machine learning for time series data.

We offer a dynamic, fast-paced environment backed by Y-Combinator, Soma Capital, and Rebel Fund. Benefits include competitive salary (€60-80K), equity (0.50-0.80%), yearly hardware budget, and the opportunity to shape the future of AI-driven mapping technology while working with top logistics companies like GLS, DPD, and Snoonu.

Founded in 2021 by a team including a PhD in Control Theory, an experienced engineer with a successful exit, and a former Wolt operations manager, we're looking for someone who thrives on autonomy, ownership, and speed. If you're excited about solving practical challenges and making an immediate impact in the logistics industry, this role could be perfect for you.
