Responsibilities For Security Engineer

  • Provide Security Operations Center (SOC) engineering support
  • Perform design/engineering, configuration, implementation of event collection solutions
  • Normalize and correlate logs, events, information to detect security events

  • Provide operations and maintenance for hardware
  • Support full engineering life cycle of systems

Requirements For Security Engineer

Linux
  • At least three years of experience in security focused IT engineering
  • Three years experience in operations and maintenance of network security devices
  • Three years experience in security policies and controls implementation
  • Thorough understanding of Linux-based systems
  • US Citizen with active Top Secret clearance
  • One or more certification: Microsoft, Linux or Cisco
  • High school diploma
  • Experience with Linux Admin, Ansible, Splunk Admin, VMware, IDS/IPS hardware support, and log collection
