Job Description

UltraViolet Cyber, a leading platform-enabled unified security operations company, is seeking a Senior Identity Access Management (IAM) Engineer to join their team. This role offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge security technologies and make a significant impact in the cybersecurity space.

The position involves working with advanced IAM solutions including CyberArk, Venafi, Thales, and Zscaler technologies. You'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining IAM solutions while ensuring best practices in digital identity management, privileged access, and cloud-based security infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of experience, with at least 3 years focused on privileged access management. Strong expertise in CyberArk, CA PAM, and Thales IAM solutions is essential, along with deep understanding of identity management concepts and cloud IAM implementations.

The role offers competitive compensation ($130,000 - $165,000) and comprehensive benefits including 401(k) with employer match, medical/dental/vision insurance, and flexible time off. The position is hybrid, requiring 2 days per week onsite near National Harbor, Maryland.

Responsibilities For Sr. Identity Access Management Engineer

  • Support the design, implementation, and maintaining of IAM solutions using CyberArk, Venafi, Thales, and Zscaler technologies
  • Manage user lifecycle, including onboarding, changes, and offboarding across multiple systems
  • Develop and maintain policies, standards, and procedures related to IAM
  • Conduct regular access reviews and audits
  • Troubleshoot complex IAM issues and provide technical support
  • Document and map the architecture of the current IAM solutions
  • Support the development of a Security Engineering Tool roadmap
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security posture through automation
  • Stay current with emerging security technologies and industry trends

Requirements For Sr. Identity Access Management Engineer

  • US Citizenship required
  • ITIL V4 Foundations certification (or obtain in first 6 months)
  • MA/MS or equivalent +10 years of experience (BA/BS + 13yrs or AA/AS +15yrs)
  • Significant experience in IAM with at least 3 years focused on privileged access management
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with CyberArk, CA PAM, and Thales IAM solutions
  • Strong understanding of identity management concepts
  • Proficient with cloud IAM implementations
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise IT support
  • Experience with ServiceNow
  • Experience with security tools and technologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communicator at all levels
