Responsibilities For Java Developer
- Provides Software Applications Engineering support for assigned applications/project areas
- Performs coding and unit testing activities
- Implements fixes based on design documents and project guidelines
- Performs build and deployment activities
- Validates integrity of pre-production environments
- Performs configuration management functions
- Provides impact analysis details
- Recommends and implements continuous process improvement
- Trains/mentors less experienced team members
Requirements For Java Developer
- Minimum 3 years experience with API concepts (REST, JSON, XML, SOAP, YAML, GraphQL, Swagger)
- Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, Elasticsearch, Kinesis) or Azure equivalents
- Enterprise Java, Spring, Springboot, SpringCloud or MVC Framework experience
- Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google)
- Jenkins & pipeline (CI/CD), Maven, Nexus knowledge
- Experience with Cloud-based Kubernetes platform
- Knowledge of NoSQL (MongoDB) and RDBMS (MySQL/Oracle)
- Experience with distributed caching (REDIS)
- Knowledge of centralized logging platform (ELK)
- Experience with Git version control
- Experience with MQ Technology and Kafka
- Experience in working fast paced dynamic work environment
- Ability to resolve complex problems with cost-effective solutions
- Willingness to learn new technologies
