Responsibilities For ServiceNow Developer

  • Utilizes technical/procedural skills to support an assigned team's work within a specified application set
  • Serves as a participating member on teams tasked to develop, improve and deliver product/system elements and features
  • Engages in design and development discussions
  • Assists with feature/element estimation
  • Creates detailed plans for migrating legacy tools and systems
  • Develops and implements unit and systems testing
  • Provides technical support, including troubleshooting and enhancement
  • Documents processes to capture best practices
  • Updates team members, manager, product owners and other stakeholders on status
  • Trains/mentors junior team members

Requirements For ServiceNow Developer

  • 2-5 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development and administration
  • Strong expertise in Integration Hub, REST/SOAP APIs, webhooks, and scripted integrations
  • Experience with Flow Designer, Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, and Client Scripts
  • Solid understanding of ITIL processes and their implementation in ServiceNow
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
