As a Software Engineer on the Capital Insights engineering team, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing reporting systems that support capital markets and lending operations. You'll play a crucial role in defining the future state of reporting infrastructure, driving innovation, and ensuring systems scale to meet growing business demands.

The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including data engineering, product management, and compliance, to build reliable, scalable systems that deliver critical information in real-time. You'll work on self-service tools to enhance investor experience and optimize business workflows.

The position offers flexibility with remote work options across the US or from physical office locations in San Mateo, Columbus, or Austin. The team operates across all U.S. time zones and has quarterly on-site collaboration sessions (3 days per quarter) with travel expenses covered by Upstart.
